Once you’ve confirmed your eligibility, you can begin your university journey with us. To get started, consider the course subjects that interest you and align with your career goals.
Let us know about your current situation, whether you're working full-time, part-time, or balancing other commitments. This helps us tailor our university advice and support to fit your lifestyle, making your transition into university easier.
Stage One
Eligibility
Our services are completely free, but to begin your university journey with SK Connections, you’ll need to meet our eligibility criteria.
To verify your eligibility, we’ll send you a short questionnaire to complete before moving forward. If you have any questions during this stage, we can arrange a follow-up call to answer any questions and provide guidance.
Once your eligibility is confirmed, SK Connections will guide you through the next steps. You’ll then be contacted by one of our education partners, who will assign you a dedicated education coordinator to support you throughout your application, from course selection to enrolment.

Consultation
SK Connections and our education partner will guide you through the next steps in your university application process.
During the consultation, we will discuss your study goals, qualifications, work experience, and the university courses that interest you.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to complete a 15-minute English test to evaluate your language skills. This will help us provide the most suitable support for your needs.
Course and University Selection & Supporting Documents

Course And University Selection
After the consultation, you will receive personalised recommendations for universities and courses that align with your needs, qualifications, schedule, and goals.
At this stage, you can ask questions, clarify doubts, and discuss universities or courses that you may not have considered applying to previously. You will also be informed of the upcoming start dates for your chosen course.
Your education coordinator will provide guidance and support at every stage of the process, ensuring you feel confident selecting the right course and university.
They will also begin preparing you for the next steps, such as assisting with your personal statement and ensuring you have all the relevant documents required for your chosen course.
Stage
2
CV and Personal Statement
Writing a strong CV and personal statement can be challenging. However, a personal statement is essential for highlighting your unique qualities and passion for the course and showcasing your skills and experiences.
During this stage, we will ask you to provide us with a copy of your CV and personal statement ( a maximum of 500 words).
It's a good idea to start writing a draft personal statement as soon as you decide to study to allow yourself more time to edit and redraft it.
Don't worry if your CV or personal statement isn't perfect. SK Connections and our educational partners offer support and guidance to help you refine your personal statement and CV, ensuring you present a strong application.
Supporting Documents
Having the right documents is essential for a smooth university application process. Failing to provide the necessary documents can result in delays or even rejection.
During this stage, we will ask you to submit the supporting documents relevant to your chosen course and university.
An education coordinator will guide you on the specific documents required.
Please visit our eligibility page for more general information about the necessary documents.
By preparing all these documents in advance, you can significantly improve your chances of success.
Stage Three - University Application & Offers
Course And University Selection
Once you’re ready to apply, we make sure your university application is strong, complete, and submitted on time.
Your Education Coordinator will review your CV, personal statement, and application form with you. If anything is missing or needs changes, we will let you know and guide you through the updates. You will also receive clear deadlines to help avoid delays.
When everything is ready, we will either submit your application for you or support you in doing it yourself, depending on your chosen university’s requirements.
If your course includes an assessment or interview, we will provide you with tips on what to expect and offer practice questions and sample essay topics to help you feel confident and prepared.
We are here to support you every step of the way, from making sure your documents are in order to preparing for your interview.
Stage

University Offers
After you submit your university application, the university will review it and make a decision.
Your student education coordinator will inform you of any offers you receive from your chosen university and help you prepare for the next steps. Typically, the first offer you receive will be a conditional offer, meaning you must meet certain requirements to secure your place on the course. This usually involves taking a test and attending an interview.
Once you fulfil the university's conditions, you will receive an unconditional offer, indicating that you have been accepted into your chosen course.

Assessment Preparation
Before your university assessment and interview, your education coordinator will offer guidance on what to expect on the day.
They will also provide practice questions and similar essay topics that may appear in the assessment, helping you familiarise yourself with the structure and types of questions you may encounter.
We recommend that you review your CV, personal statement, and the practice questions and essay topics provided so you feel confident and prepared for your assessment and interview.
Stage four Student Finance & University Enrolment
To help cover the costs of your university course, you will need to apply for student finance. Depending on your situation, you may be eligible for a loan to assist with your living expenses while you study. Your student education coordinator will provide you with information about the required documents and help you understand which student loans you may qualify for. Once you have gathered all the necessary documents, you can submit your student finance application.
